Requesting deletion

If you are a user or a connected business and want HOP to delete Instagram integration data held by HandyHop, you can request deletion through the HOP contact form or by email.

How to submit a request

Use the contact form or email info@handyhop.co and include:

• Your name
• Your business name
• The connected Instagram username
• A clear request to delete your HOP / Instagram integration data

Verification

HOP will verify the request before deleting data. We may ask for additional information to confirm that you are authorized to make the request for the relevant business or Instagram account.

What we delete

Where legally permitted, we will delete connected Instagram tokens, account mapping, and stored conversation data associated with the HOP / Instagram integration covered by your request.

Processing time

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to complete verification.

Removing HOP through Instagram

You can also remove HOP's access from Instagram itself:

1. Open Instagram and go to your profile
2. Open Settings and activity
3. Open Accounts Center (or Security and login, depending on your app version)
4. Find Apps and websites (or similar permissions settings)
5. Select HOP / HandyHop and remove access

Disconnecting HOP from Instagram stops future access through that connection, but it does not necessarily delete information that Meta holds independently. To request deletion of data stored by HOP, please email us as described above.
